Place Management NSW required new umbrellas for the restaurants at Circular Quay. The brief was for the umbrellas to have the same design, look and colourways as the umbrellas located at Whalebridge. 22 umbrellas were required for this project. Key points were to minimise the loss in trading for the restaurants, and to eliminate the need for any earthworks onsite. The umbrellas were engineered to reuse the existing footing locations. Skyspan Typhoon umbrellas were used for this location with a 148 km/hr wind rating.
